Summary | Abstract:The robotic operating table(prototype)was developed in the smart treatment room SCOT project, which was
promoted mainly by Tokyo Womenʼs Medical University. This operating table is expected to improve safety and reduce the labor of medical staff instead of conventional manual patient transportation. In addition, the multi‒joint degree of freedom enables a three‒dimensionally complex operation. The purpose of this study was to measure the repeatability of the newly developed robotic operating table and clarify its effectiveness and improvement. An optical marker was fixed to the virtual patientʼs head position, and the displacement(fixed position and motion trajectory)of the operating table was measured during operation. Further, as a condition, the displacement was compared in an unloaded state operation and a 60 kgf load state assuming a patient. Acknowledgments: This research was developed by AMED as a consignment project of“Research and development of advanced medical devices and systems that realize future medical care/Development of smart treatment rooms that improve both safety and medical efficiency”.
