Summary Abstract: Minimally invasive surgery has recently become a key word in medical engineering. In this operation, to
introduce surgical instruments, workspace-creation devices which push tissues aside and retain the approach are
necessary. Therefore, a new type volume-controllable balloon with pressure sensing function has been developed. In
this paper, we execute in vivo experiment to secure the workspace in the pig brain. We found that this sensor system has
a sensitivity of detecting brain pressure pulsation.
