Summary In order to promote the equal accessibility of medical care in Japan, NTT DOCOMO is collaborating with
Tokyo Women’s Medical University and OPExPARK to develop a Mobile SCOT® that combines Smart Cyber Operating Theater (SCOT)with 5G. We aim to provide high‒level medical care anytime, anywhere with Mobile SCOT. NTT DOCOMO’s 5G and docomo Open Innovation CloudTM(dOIC)/Cloud Direct enable to transmit large‒capacity medical data via secure network with low‒latency. Furthermore, by constructing a dedicated server with the function of storing and distributing medical data on dOIC, it would be possible to distribute medical data in real time and refer to past cases. In this study, we developed a prototype of a dedicated server and evaluated the system using simulated medical images and data.
