Summary | Aims: The mobile Smart Cyber Operating Theater (SCOT), jointly developed by TWMU and NTT DOCOMO, Inc., is a system designed to provide medical treatment and support in both normal and disaster situations. Utilizing 5G and multi-access cloud, this system enables surgeons and nurses in remote locations to share medical information, including patient images and data, facilitating rapid decision-making. This presentation aimed to assess the results of demonstration experiments for the system’s implementation and elucidate the role of nurses in telemedicine. |
