Summary | Brain tumor removal surgery requires both maximal tumor
removal and minimal postoperative complication. To realize both, a surgeon needs to understand the brain-structure and the brain-function positions of a patient. However, the type and position of the brain tumor and the positions of the brainfunction vary in each patient. Thus, the surgeon awakes the patient during surgery and uses electrical stimulation to identify the brain-function positions~ |
