| Summary | Service robotics is bringing about innovative changes in various industrial sectors, with its signifi-cance expected to increase even further in the future. This paper reports on a pilot study in which a mobile robot was utilized to guide patients who visited a clinic for examination purposes to their respective testing locations. Additionally, we conducted a survey among the patients regarding their experiences with the test and facility guide robots. Furthermore, to explore the potential of ser-vice robotics in taking over and assisting with mobility-related tasks not limited to test guidance, especially in hospitals, we carried out a research survey targeting employees at a university hospi-tal. This survey aimed to assess the extent to which service robotics could contribute to supporting mobility-related tasks. |
