Summary Vitreous sRAGE levels were significantly correlated with renal function, and low vitreous sRAGE levels in patients with PDR were associated with postoperative vitreous hemorrhage. Vitreous sRAGE may be a useful biomarker for renal dysfunction associated with diabetic retinopathy.
