Summary Two surveys were conducted among students in the medical facility of our university using Google Forms;
one surveyed their understanding of health literacy and the other surveyed their awareness of LEP (low dose
estrogen-progestin). The results showed a higher level of acquirements of womenʼs health literacy among
students of upper grade. The LEP usage rate among the survey participants was 30%, with the main reason for
use being treatment for menstrual conditions. Several students lacked experience of LEP usage and accurate
knowledge of its efficacy. This is believed to have led to a preconception that LEP has side effects, making
students hesitant in its use.
