Summary | A water surface map useful for mosquito source surveys was created by combining multiple narrow-band aerial images and performing pixel-by-pixel brightness calculations.
This water surface map was distributed to researchers' smartphones with a GIS application, enabling them to systematically survey countless puddles and greatly improving the efficiency of mosquito breeding site field surveys. |
